Discovering Jewish memorial, Berlin

Where : Jewish Memorial Discovering Jewish memorial, Berlin The Holocaust Memorial is but a short walk from the Brandenburg Gate.  We visited on a sunny day, yet there weren’t a lot of people around.  How come ? Powerful energy Arriving at the historical landmark, there’s a powerful energy which is hard to put into words.  It’s also difficult to understand the design for the memorial.  What was the artist trying to send as a message ? What is there to see ? There’s also a Zoo, we heard the animals as we walked along the path. First we explored the park and the wildlife, then we made our way to the famous Victory Column.  It’s a large historical monument located just around a traffic circle.  It appears

The imperial Church, built around 18th century has but a small part of the original church remaining.  It was decided not to rebuild, in order to display the damages done during the World War II.
