We heard about Hundertwasserhaus and instantaneously wanted to visit !  It’s an apartment house that was built after the idea and concept of Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser. Joseph Krawina was the architect and co-author. Where : Naschmarkt, Vienna Discovering Naschmarkt (Big street market) During our FreeWalking tour, our guide told us to visit the Naschmarkt.  We had ample time to visit it, and it did not disappoint. Its basically a huge street market located in a cool neighbourhood.  We most appreciated the amazing architecture surrounding the market.  Each building looked as though they were hand painted with precision, details and personal art. Discovering The Great Market Hall, Budapest

Where : The Great Market Hall, Budapest Discovering The Great Market Hall.  It’s a huge central market located on the ‘Pest’ side.  As you may or may not know, the city was amalgamated years ago from Buda and Pest.  It now forms one mega city, the one we all know as Budapest.  Originally, Buda was located on the East side of the Danube and Pest on the West side. Discovering Mouffetard Market, Paris

Where : Mouffetard Market-  Paris – France The Mouffetard Market was our first destination in Paris ! We arrived in Paris in the late afternoon, after a 6 hour layover in Zurich.  We took a taxi from Charles de Gaule airport to our friend’s apartment, located in the 13th arrondissement. Our friend Gilles highly recommended the Mouffetard Market.  Too tired to go out for dinner, we decided to explore the area and buy some light groceries for dinner. The Mouffetard market is located on a beautifully decorated small street.  However, you’ll will find all the necessities, tasty local cheese, the famous and delicious French baguettes, fruits, wine, etc.  The quality of the food is great, but it wasn’t cheap.
