Where : Le Promenade Plantee (or Coulée verte) - Paris - France
This place had invitation written all over it. According to Wikipedia, “La Promenade Plantée” or the “Coulée Verte” was inaugurated in 1993. A 4.7km elevated Park built on the top of the obsolete in the 12th arrondissement of Paris, France.
The park is easily accessed by metro. We recommend to visit on a nice day, or at least without rain, which could be tricky in Paris. Luck was on our side since it was a beautiful sunny day when we visited. We appreciated the nice street views. Consider this place to take cool pictures of the green alley and beautiful buildings around.
We recommend it because it’s a really cool and green space in the middle of Paris. Many locals go for a walk or get their daily dose of jogging. If you don't feel like walking, you can sit on one of the benches or have a drink of water.
