Where : Main Square (Hlavné námestie) - Bratislava
Discovering Hlavné námestie, Bratislava
Bratislava is a small but really charming city. The Hlavné Namestie, which translates to main square, will demonstrate just that. There's a nice open space with beautiful architecture and colorful buildings. You'll also find many restaurants, church, souvenirs stores and funny statues like Napoleon’s soldier. According to the legend, the soldier was left behind by Napoleon’s army in 1805 when he fell in love with a local girl. He seems quite famous since there was a small line to take pictures with him.

If you are planning to visit Bratislava you will find the main square quite easily. Hlanvé Namestie also acts as a central hub, which can lead you to many other attraction points in the city. Oh and, if you are not planning to have a meal here, you should at least visit one of the pastry stores around - they all look really delicious!
