The Mouffetard Market was our first destination in Paris !
We arrived in Paris in the late afternoon, after a 6 hour layover in Zurich. We took a taxi from Charles de Gaule airport to our friend’s apartment, located in the 13th arrondissement. Our friend Gilles highly recommended the Mouffetard Market. Too tired to go out for dinner, we decided to explore the area and buy some light groceries for dinner.
The Mouffetard market is located on a beautifully decorated small street. However, you’ll will find all the necessities, tasty local cheese, the famous and delicious French baguettes, fruits, wine, etc. The quality of the food is great, but it wasn’t cheap. That didn’t matter, it was worth the visit for the experience and ambiance.
Visit the market for groceries or to find yourself a cute restaurant or cafe for lunch or dinner.
