Discovering Warsaw Barbican, Warsaw
Located at the top of Old town Warsaw

After your visit to the Old town market square you will find a street that leads to the old brick Barbican Fort. It was a great surprise, almost like the cherry on top since we really appreciated the Old Town Square!
The fort offers beautiful city views and it's also nice to walk around the remaining walls which were rebuilt after WWII. There's a majestic entrance with two towers which is where you'll find many local artists selling their crafts and paintings. It's possible to walk on parts of the where you can get a really beautiful view from the Old Town and New town too !
Do we recommend ?
Absolutely, it’s a must see ! It's one of the major touristic attractions from Warsaw plus it’s a beautiful historic fortification from the 18th century! Although it was destroyed during the WWII it was rebuilt after on the basis of 17th century etchings, according to Wikipedia (check link for more info).
Additionally, we recommend that you start discovering at the north entrance of Old Town Warsaw - with Sigismund's column and finish with the Barbican Fortification.
