Where : Great Synagogue, Pilsen Discovering Great Synagogue – Velká synagoga We took a day trip to Pilsen, a small city in Czech Republic approximately 1 hour by train from Prague. Our day started with the Pilsner Urquell Brewery tour, you can check the review here – Pilsner Urquell brewery. When the tour finished, we decided to stay the afternoon to visit the city. Prior to our visit, we only knew about the brewery, so we were happy when we discovered the Great Synagogue. 2nd Largest in Europe According to Wikipedia, the synagogue is the second largest in Europe.
