Where : Topography of Terror Discovering Topography of Terror, Berlin If you are visiting the Checkpoint Charlie in Berlin you can also visit the Topography des Terrors.  We say that because they are nestled in the same area of the city. So, what is it ? It’s basically an indoor and outdoor museum, five minutes walking distance from Checkpoint Charlie. We took the time to visit the open air memorial with the history of the World War II.  According to Wikipedia is located on Niederkirchnerstrasse, formerly Prinz-Albrecht-Strasse.   During the Nazi regime from 1933 to 1945, it was the SS Reich Main Security Office and the headquarters of the Sicherheitspolizei, SD, Einsatzgruppen and Gestapo.
