Our hotel was located near the Kurfürstendamm in the centre of the Breitscheidplatz, where this memorial is located. Free attraction and learning experience The Memorial is a famous landmark of western Berlin and it’s free to visit. The imperial Church, built around 18th century has but a small part of the original church remaining. It was decided not to rebuild, in order to display the damages done during the World War II.
