Where : Montmartre, Paris Montmartre is a “Must” while you are in Paris! This district is full of history, on a hill located in Paris’s 18th arrondissement. The main attraction is beautiful Basilica of the Sacré-Coeur which is located at the very top of the hill. There are lots of cafes and restaurants around, the cute ‘Wall of Love’ or ‘Mur des je t’aimes’ in French. The streets are full of artists attempting to sell their drawings and caricatures. Historic notables: Visit the Musée d’Art Naif Max Fourny in the square Many notable artists lived and worked in Montmartre during the “Belle époque” (1872 and 1914).
