Where : Pont Alexandre III- Paris - France
We just wanted to give a quick shoutout, because we thought it was one of the most beautiful Bridges we saw in Paris and in Europe. But surely the architect, residents of Paris and the millions of tourists already know that !
After visiting the Eiffel Tower, we walked along the Seine river and stumbled upon the bridge.
According to Wikipedia, Pont Alexandre III is one of the most extravagant bridges from Paris and it’s a French Monument historique since 1975 . We agreed and highly recommend to walk through from either side. You will get amazing pictures of the many statues on the structure - exuberant Art Nouveau as we remember of the gold winged horses.
We passed through during the day, but it should be beautiful to see it during evening / night with the beautiful lamps.
