Discovering Au Quai de L’ill, Strasbourg

Where : Au Quai de L’ill restaurant, Strasbourg Our apartment was located 3 minutes walk from this restaurant.  The Google reviews looked good, so we decided to give a try. We definitely like the ambience and the service was quick and friendly.  They recommended the local tarte flambées or Flammekueche, which was really tasty. Our server was also nice enough to help us find a cool local pub.  We planned to visit Au Fût et à Mesure but hesitated we would get our money’s worth.  This is when a local pub started to sound more appealing to us.  It was a really good start to the night ! Our Ratings Serge: 5  Eli:  5 Recommend: Yes !

About the Petit Trianon According to Wikipedia, the Petit Trianon was designed by Ange-Jacques Gabriel from the order of Louis XV for his long-term mistress Madame de Pompadour. Furthermore, the luxurious decorations also attracted Marie Antoinette. She was going to escape the formality of the court life and to shake off the burden of her royal responsibilities. Discovering Mont Saint-Michel, France

Mont Saint-Michel, France Mont-Saint-Michel is one of the places that impressed us the most during our tour in France. It’s a magical place and the surrounding views are breathtaking. What we consider important pointers Plan an early visit to the ‘island’ as it gets crowded very quickly.  We visited in April and expected very little tourists. Boy  were we wrong! Expect delays.  We arrived first thing in the morning and still had to wait around 30-60 minutes to get inside.  This was because of tourists and security checkpoints. Interesting point, accessing the Mont is free!  You will need some money for souvenirs, food and the Abbey entrance fee (roughly $10 euros for adults).  We don’t entirely recall, however there might
